The GRANDVIEW FIRE is located about10 miles NE of Sisters

The GRANDVIEW FIRE command has been transferred from the ODF Team 2, a Type 1 IMT today. This has been given back to the local unit.

Fire behavior has been reduced to minimal activities with smoldering.

About 6,032 acres have been scorched and containment remains at a 95% status.

The fire was reported on Sunday, July 11, 2021, around 1330 hours PT, burning on ODF protected lands on the Crooked River National Grassland (Crooked River Ranch) in Deschutes and Jefferson Counties.

At the time of reporting, the cause was unknown and under investigation by Fire Officials.

About 366 total personnel remain assigned to this incident along with 12 crews and 19 engines. There has been a reduction of personnel by 109 members. On July 13, 2021, the Amity Fire District was part of a Strike Team from Yamhill County (Brush 5, a Type 3 engine).

No structures have been lost.

Cost-to-date in total expenses has reached $10 Million.
