YAKIMA, Washington — On Friday night, December 17th, a City of Yakima FD fire engine and an ALS ambulance collided with one another at the intersection of 72nd and Washington.
The two first responder vehicles were both responding to a call at the same time with lights and sirens and hit each other as they entered the intersection.
As you can see, both vehicles received significant damage but it was reported all occupants of both vehicles were okay and no serious injuries were suffered from the impact.
The roadway was blocked for a period of time during the late-night accident, then reopened.
