LOCATION | Near Flanagan Road and Beltline Road, west of Shasta Lake City and north of Redding (Shasta County) in California.

REPORTED DATE/TIME | 3/4/2022, 1315 hours PT.

CURRENT FIRE STATUS | 88 acres. 70% containment status. No structures were damaged or lost. Firefighters have made good progress with the assigned resources to complete the hose, hand, and dozer lines overnight (Friday) and have continued with mop-up and patrol operations.

RESOURCES | 20 total personnel. Five engines and one water tender.

INJURIES | None to citizens or firefighters.

CAUSE | Confirmed escaped Prescribed Fire debris burn pile.

INCIDENT COOPERATORS | CAL FIRE SHU, Shasta County FD, CDCR and Shasta Lake FPD.

EVACUATIONS | All orders have been lifted.
