Update 1 – Sunday, 3/12/2022 – 2245 hours PT
Incident Summary — A wildfire named the EVERGREEN FIRE is burning near Evergreen Lane and Hwy 97, northeast of Weed (Siskiyou County), California which ignited from an unknown source today. The cause is currently under investigation by Fire Officials.
This is one of several fires burning in the County, with the Hill Fire and Gulch Fires. These will be listed as separate posts under their designated fire names respectively.
Size Up — The current size of the fire is approximately 12 acres and crews have reached a 40% containment status. Forward progression was stopped around 1912 hours this evening.
Lead Agency — CAL FIRE SKU.
Evacuations — All orders and warnings have been lifted.
