The newly reported wildfire, the COUNTY ROAD 56 FIRE was reported to fire officials on April 6th, which is located eight miles southeast of Burlington (Kit Carson County), Colorado.

At this time, the wildfire has scorched 4,200 acres and there is a moderate chance this fire could grow larger in the next 24 hours.

This is Incident #2022-COKCX-000097.

Current weather reports are temps of 44*F, a dewpoint of 36%, and winds of 23 miles-per-hour.
