The Training Area 23 Fire is located in the demolition range area of Camp Bullis, Texas, which ignited on Saturday, April 9th, around 1430 hours CDT.

Fire managers are in Unified Command which includes Texas A&M Forest Service, and Joint Base San Antonio’s Fire Department.

On April 10th, the fire was at 4,000 acres and at a 50% containment status. All evacuation orders were listed.

No Injuries or losses/damages to any occupied structures were reported.
