PUEBLO, COLORADO — A large wildland fire was sparked on Sunday, June 19th on Fountain Creek, located east of the Mall. It is not the first time a fire has broken out in the area.

Fire Officials state the most likely cause is from a large homeless camp in the area.

The fire would be quickly contained, but fire conditions remain high for the Pueblo area.
