VANCOUVER, BC — An early morning fire around 0200 PST occurred just outside of the Vancouver Art Gallery in garbage bins located nearby the structure.
Fast-moving Sanitation workers who were alerted to smoke and flames near the Art Gallery were credited today for helping control the fire which broke out in several bins up against the building – prior to resources arriving on the scene.
Firefighters quickly put the fire out.
One of the sanitation workers asked in a joking manner, if the other, had any eyebrows left after getting so close to the fire itself.
