Fire resources and equipment are coming through the SB State Park and being escorted in by the County Sheriff to the fire scene.

Red Cross was requested for food and beverages for a total of 60-plus personnel. This is due to becoming an extended fire incident.

Update 1 | March 3, 2023 | 2050 PT

A structure fire has reportedly broken out at the Forestry building near the Simon B. Elliott State Park in Clearfield County, PA on Friday evening (2051 PT). This is a 318-acre state park located in Pine Township surrounded by Moshannon State Forest.

The Fire Marshal was requested to respond to the scene.

Firefighters and crews were responding to the scene and working to try to contain the fire which seemed to be near the State Park.

Additional tankers were requested. (2059 PT).
