ORIGINAL POST 3/3/2023 1950 PT | Firefighters have been dispatched from the Colorado Springs Fire Department to a confirmed working structure fire in the 2500 block of South Academy Boulevard this Friday evening, March 3, 2023.

Engine 11 is first due and reporting fire is showing through the roof of a single-story commercial building.

This is shown to be located in a business park that lists Big Bob’s Flooring Outlet, an auto detail shop, and J’s Tires as occupants.

The fire level has been escalated to a second alarm as of 1923 hours PT.

Additional businesses in attached suites, also known as exposures are under threat and firefighters are working to egress on the commercial building.
