Update 3 – Wednesday, June 7, 2023, 2137 PDT

The Donnie Creek Complex had originally six wildfires but crews have successfully put one of the six out, bringing it down to five active and out-of-control wildfires.

It includes the following five wildfires:

Heck Creek Fire – also known as the G80590 Fire.

Klua Lakes Fire – known also as Incident G90273 Fire.

Muskwa River Fire or the G90292 Fire.

Holman Creek Fire also called the G80633 Fire incident.

And, the final wildfire in this series is the Donnie Creek Fire or known as G80280.

The original wildfire, Donnie Creek Fire was discovered on May 12, 2023, at 1658 hours PDT on a Friday afternoon.

Structure protection is in effect.

The cause is possibly likely related to lightning.

The generalized area where these fires are burning is about 136 km southeast of Fort Nelson and 158 km north of Fort St. John.

The complex is being managed by a BCWS IMT.

Resources include a total of 151 personnel along with 11 helicopters, 25 heavy equipment, and a BC IMT.
