SIT REP 1: SATURDAY, JULY 15, 2023 1615 PT

A wildfire reported as the GAVILAN FIRE was first reported at 1539 hours this Saturday afternoon, July 15, 2023, in the area of Gailan Road and Multview Drive in Perris (Riverside County) and southwest of Mead Valley, California.

The fire was first listed as a small fire five acres in size but is now 10 with a potential of up to 200+ acres. It was reported at 1539 hours as moving southeast, prompting an urgent order to be placed for more tankers, copters, and dozers.
