INCIDENT SUMMARY | The NEWELL ROAD FIRE is burning near Newell Road, which was previously located about five (5) miles west of Dot Road (has been reported crossed over this roadway),17 miles east of Goldendale and south of Bickleton, Washington State.

SIZE UP | The fire was said to be at 6,000 acres of brush, grass, and timber at the time of it being reported as a new incident on Friday at 1839 hours PT and with a 0% containment status.

RESOURCES | Resources include personnel and equipment from WA DNR, a DNR Strike Team, a Type 3 IMT, and a State Mobilization that has been approved as of 1915 hours on Friday evening.
