RIVERSIDE COUNTY, CALIFORNIA — Firefighters from CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department are on the scene of a brush fire as of 1727 hours PT on Washington Street and Coyote Song Way north of Indio.

The last update from Fire Officials was at 1942 hours of the fire burning about 30-40 acres in the area of palm trees in an area with difficult accessibility.
No injuries have been reported to civilians or firefighters.
No evacuations are in effect at the time of this update.
