FLORIDA — According to the State’s Florida Forest Service website, several wildfires are burning across multiple areas. This is a compiled list for Saturday’s first sit rep of these wildfires.

3RD STREET FIRE

This wildfire is considered active in Putnam County and under just a shy of one acre (0.75 acre) with an 85% containment status. The Lead Agency is the Waccasassa Field Unit. Incident# 240800311.

BERNICE ROAD FIRE

The Bernice Road Fire was reported today and is said to be burning in Santa Rosa County. As of 1552 hours, the fire had burned about 0.25 acres and remained at a 0% containment status. The lead agency is the FFS’s Blackwater Field Unit. Incident #240100418.

BURBANK FIRE

The Burbank Fire is located in Marion County which is approximately 55 acres and has a 95% containment status. Incident#240800313.

FISH BRANCH COOKED CREEK FIRE

This wildfire is being led by The Myakka River Field Unit with the FFS in Hardee County, where the fire is said to be about 134 acres and has a 95% containment status. Incident #241500194.

ORANGE AVENUE FIRE

The Orange Avenue Fire is burning in St. Lucie County and is under the management of the Okeechobee Field Unit. It is listed at 0.1 acre and has a 0% containment status.
