Sit Rep 1 | July 22, 2024 | Monday PM Update

The KNOT FIRE is located near Walla Walla Road and four miles southwest of Sprague River (Klamath County), Oregon, sparked by an undetermined cause on Sunday, July 21, 2024.

About 1,200 acres of grass and brush have been burned. There is a 0% sustained containment status.

Extreme fire behavior and single torching were observed.

A total of 36 personnel are assigned with four engines and three copters.

Incident Cooperators include Klamath County Fire Districts 1 and 3, Chiloquin Fire & Rescue, Merrill, Malin, Bonanza, Rocky Point, Bly Mountain, ODF, South Centra OR Fire Management Partnership – SCOFMP and BLM Oregon & Washington.
