FLAT ROCK FIRE | SUNDAY, MARCH 23, 2025 | FIRE UPDATE 1

The FLAT ROCK FIRE was reported to the NIFC within the last 24 hours, which is burning about five (5) miles west of Blue Mountain, Mississippi, where structures are under threat.

The Mississippi Forestry Commission is the lead Fire Agency for this incident.

Fire behavior has been observed as active with wind-driven runs, flanking, and backing.

There have been 2,000-plus acres burned and has a 50% containment status.

There are a total of 19 personnel and two engines.

The Cost-To-Date has reached $20,000.
