California House Fire Quickly Contained by CAL FIRE Resources

Incident Summary

CALIFORNIA — Firefighters with the CAL FIRE / Riverside County Fire Department were dispatched to the 3300 block of Cedar Avenue in the Hemet area for a single-family structure fire.

This fire was reported at 1645 hours PT.

Current Status

The Incident Commander (IC) confirmed a working fire in the back of the house that has a large 50′ x 50′ outbuilding which was observed as being fully involved, and has extended into nearby brush on the property.

The power company has secured the power.

Operational Period

The fire has since been contained.

Per local Fire Officials, they will be out of service working on the fire ground for the next two hours.
