ARIZONA – According to the Wildcad.net site, there has been a lot of activity in the State of Arizona today and this is a compiled list of what fire activity has transpired today.

WILDFIRES

AIR FIRE

SCA E5861 was dispatched this evening at 2204 hours MDT to a wildfire called Air. The location is unknown at this time. The call is listed under Incident #AZSCA-629 for the Phoenix Dispatch Center.

POCKET FIRE

A call was logged in the CAD system for this evening at 2150 hours MDT under the name of Pocket Fire. Incident #AZCOF-267. Dispatch Center: AZFDC.

POTATO FIRE

Forest Service property on Mingus Mountain. The call was logged for 1531 hours. Incident #AZPDC-240-606. This incident was listed as a smoke check originally in the ADC area and logged as a wildfire under the Phoenix Dispatch Center under the name of the Potato Fire. Fire resources were able to stop the forward progression and it was held to 0.1 acres. Call Dispatch time: 1515 hours. Incident #AZPNF-409.

REFUGE FIRE

A wildfire is burning in the Imperial National Wildlife Refuge which broke out today. Resources which include: BOATS 2182, 3551 and engines E-5163, 2162, 3662, and 3665 along with BIA, FWS, and those from CRD were originally dispatched to the fire at 1408 hours MDT today from the Phoenix Dispatch Center. Shortly thereafter CAPT 4-3 was dispatched at 1420 hours under Incident #AZADC-240605 as a resource order. The fire has burned 350 acres. Dispatch Center: ADC.

The Wildlife Refuge is currently closed due to the wildfire. Officials say a fire broke out around 1359 hours, due to presumed arson. The Yuma County Sheriff arrested an individual responsible for the fire at the sandbar adjacent to their management unit. Reports of their overlook being damaged and will be closed indefinitely.

SIDEWINDER FIRE

The Sidewinder Fire broke out earlier today about six miles south of Florence near SR 79 and northwest of Cactus Forest in Pinal County, Arizona.

The forward progression of this wildfire was stopped today and considered as contained. The fire had burned about 57.6 acres. Resources were originally dispatched today at 0932 hours MDT.

TABLE MESA FIRE

At 1828 hours MDT, resources were dispatched to t his wildfire, where fire crews successfully held the fire to only one acre. As of the CAD log, it was said to be at an 80% containment status. Incident #AZPHD-413. Dispatch Center: Phoenix.

MARTINEZ LAKE

MRL State property. Dispatched call at 1418 hours under Incident #AZA4S-240604. Dispatch Center: ADC.

RED CABIN

This is located on private property and the CAD call logged this event at 1856 hours MDT. Incident #AZA2S-240608. Dispatch Center: ADC.

WET

Resources were dispatched to private property located on SR 82 at mile marker 49 for a smoke check. Call dispatched: 1757 hours. Incident #AZA3S-240607. Dispatch Center: ADC.
