Remembering the lost on that fateful day eleven years ago is a reminder how precious life really is.  Over 343 firefighters died doing what they love in saving others, even strangers’ lives.  Even today, they continue to carry on this tradition that is literally in their blood.

We Will Never Forget.

The legacy of the Fallen continue to remind us how no matter what may stand in their way, they are going to succeed no matter what obstacles attempt to block them.  These 343 firefighters may have died, but their lives they led, their families whom supported them through their journeys, the children who are part of them that are with us today, those who were saved by some of our firefighters and to respect and honor those that put their lives on the line, now that is a pure selfless act.   They are Our Heroes.

“It has been 11 years today this country was impacted by a horrific event that took so many innocent lives. Among the over 3000 lives lost, 343 were firefighters trying to help others to safety. I remember, I have not forgotten.

Brother hood above all
Remember the fallen
Everyone goes home”

“Giving A Life”

It’s twenty past the hour now
The stations neat and clean.
They’ve had their morning exercise
Their bodies are tough and lean.

They know their job’s to Serve and Protect.
Sometimes they just can’t wait.
But none of them knew what was near
On that September date.

The fire raged on , the bell did sound,
It’s time to go to work.
But fear did not approach their minds
Though they knew they could get hurt.

They marched up to each tower
With one thing on their minds.
To get the people out of harms way,
What ever be his crime.

Although not everyone was saved,
Still, one thing remains.
GOD was with them each step of the way,
HE was there to ease their pain.

Giving A Life to save another
That’s what the Firefighters rendered.
One thing remains in me and all,
“They’ll Always Be Remembered.”

“While it’s part of our mission at Brew City F.O.O.L.S to pay honor to all of our brothers and sister of the fire service that have fallen in the line of duty, on this day we are paying honor to and remembering all of those that lost their lives on that fateful day…The men and women of the FDNY, the NYPD, and the Port Authorities. We pay honor to all of those that answered the cries for help that day as well. Our men and women in the Armed Services that have given their lives and those that have worked tirelessly to secure our safety in the days that followed. Our thoughts and prayers today are with everyone that lost their life, the families and friends that love those that were lost as a result of the tragic events of September 11, 2001.

In honor of all those that lost their lives we at Brew City F.O.O.L.S. will remain silent on our Facebook page from 0746 hrs ( the time the first plane crashed into the World Trade Center ) until 1028 hrs ( the time the last tower, North Tower at world Trade Center collapsed). We’d like to encourage everyone to take a few moments on this day to reflect, remember, and honor those that are no longer with us. And to remember those that are still dealing with the ill effects even today, 11 years later.”

“The Westford Firefighters Pipes and Drums will never forget the 343 brothers and sisters who made the ultimate sacrifice that day on 9-11-2001……. we will also never forget the rest of the brother and sisters who by all accounts made the best rescue effort EVER by the FDNY
Box #55-8087 RFB-EGH”

“Never forget the 343. All gave some, some gave all.”

“Today, we pause to remember the 72 American law enforcement heroes who gave their lives on September 11, 2001.”

“NEVER FORGET: On this 11th day of September, 2012… The Bellevue Firefighters will never forget.”

“Time is passing. Yet, for the United States of America, there will be no forgetting September the 11th. We will remember every rescuer who died in honor. We will remember every family that lives in grief. We will remember the fire and ash, the last phone calls, the funerals of the children.”

“May those who were taken away from us serve as Guardian Angels to watch over us all until we all ride the BRT into the sky…

So take a moment to remember all the victims of 9-11 and the soldiers overseas that continue to preserve our freedom…

Thought of the day…
Treasure those loved ones and friends around you today, because you never know when they may turn into a memory with a tear tomorrow…”

“‎11 Years ago, an attack on New York City occured. 2,752 people died that day. Take a moment of silence on Tuesday, the eleventh of September to remember those who died saving lives and those who died running for safety. Flags are at half staff in their honor tomorrow. We will take a day of silence in honor.”

“Please take time to remember all of those great Americans who were lost eleven years ago today by such a senseless act of terrorism. Especially our 343 Brothers and Sisters who lost their lives on the Hellish day and for those who are dying from inhaling the air the E.P.A. said was clean so many years after!! Our hearts are still and will forever be heavy for those men and women and their families. W.L.F.D.”

“Today, the CFD P&D will keep it’s promise to “Never Forgot” during rememberance ceremonies at North Riverside FD & Stone Park FD. If you can’t make it to one of these, find a memorial in your area or just take a moment of silences during your day to remember.”

“REMEMBERING GROUND ZERO
Another sad commemoration of the 9/11 tragedy is upon us again. As a responder under a mutual aid agreement NYPD has with my small department just north of New York City, I will never forget that day. I will never forget the sinking in the pit of my stomach as five from my village in Westchester County headed into the City, a miasma of smoke and horror rising from piles of rubble. Thousands of lives were lost that day. Let us remember them today. What do you remember about 9/11?”

“Today is September 11th 2012. 11 years ago today the United States was attacked by terrorists. Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives in the attacks. This includes 343 New York City Fire Department firefighters. 23 New York City Police Department officers, 37 Port Authority Police Department officers, 15 EMTs and 3 Court Officers. Approximately 2,000 first responders were also injured in the attacks. In the days after the attack all of the major corporations started to send out their condolences. The one that struck me the most and still does to this day is from Budweiser.

We pay tribute to not only our first responders but also to the civilians just like us and each of you. Who were in those buildings when the planes hit. Today is a very sad day. Please join me in saying a prayer today for the families and for the victims of 9/11

WE WILL NEVER FORGET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

“‎11 years ago they started their shift not knowing it would be their last. The 343 were the bravest of the brave that day and we will never forget what our brothers and sisters done for us that day. NEVER FORGET !!!!”

“It’s hard to believe it’s been 11 years since 9/11…Justice was done with the unbelievable toughness and patriotism of our arm forces…but I don’t think a day goes by without a bitter thought of that day. Let’s always remember those who were the victims and those heroes who gave their life trying to save others…NEVER FORGET!”

We Will Never Forget the many whom died on this day.  You all Are Forever In Our Hearts, Your Legacy Continues On and We are Thankful for Your Service, Commitment, Dedication and most of all, Your Selfless Act on 9-1-1.  We Will Never Forget.
