Cooperating Agencies: USFS, MT DNRC, American Red Cross, Missoula County Sheriff’s Office, Missoula County Disaster & Emergency Services, Missoula & Ravalli County RFD’s, MT Highway Patrol and MT National Guard.
Resources: 764 personnel. 13 crews, 9 helos, 46 engines, 10 dozers, 22 watertenders.
Injuries: (2) 1 with respiratory and another 1 transported to the hospital for a broken arm due to a falling snag.
Fire Update: 10,892 acres. 47% contained. 8 miles W of Lolo, MT. Helos and Fixed Wing have dropped up to date a total of 600,000 gallons of water and 200,000 fire retardant, which equal 3.2million 16-oz. bottles of water.
Thunderstorms are expected. They will continue to keep everything at bay. Air support will be grounded if necessary.
