Firefighting is difficult for both genders and though it is a “team” effort, we know that sometimes it can be harder than the other.  Regardless, if you are male or female – we know your job is both dangerous and hard.

We are gathering stories from Female Firefighters. Their stories are incoming are both amazing and inspiring.  Some have stated their male counterparts doubted the drive and motivation of women in the fire service, but have proven them wrong – even gaining their respect a long the way.

This Feature Story is not “only” women in the firefighters taking all of the credit for fighting fires, but to show how they mesh well with their fire crews, working as a “team” and encouraging one another.  It is all about displaying their many talents, expert skills and finding ways they can partner with one another.
