• Lightning Caused

SITREP

• Firefighters made significant progress today on both fires
• Secured all fire perimeters
• Fire did not breach perimeters

Bone Creek Basin Fire

• 14,700 acres
• 60% contained
• NE corner of fire showed significant heat from the overnight IFR Fly over
•  Helicopters worked through the afternoon
• Assisted firefighters to cool down the area with water drops
• W side of the fire in mop-up mode using cold trailing techniques.
• Firefighters worked closely with local resources

Blitzen Crossing Fire

• 5,638 acres
• 60% contained
• Firefighters continued to patrol and extinguish hotspots.
• The emphasis area today was mopping up on the west flank.
• Helicopters assisted the efforts with water
