Incident Summary

A wildfire started yesterday around 1510 Hours in the area off of New Peoria Flat Road and Old Melones Road, west of Sonora in Tuolumne County, California.

Cause of the fire is unknown at this time.

Command

Command is being managed by the CAL FIRE Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit .

Resources

Currently, six (6) Engines and three (3) Fire crews from the Tuolumne-Calaveras Unit are assigned to this incident.

Fire Status

The fire has burned 85 acres and firefighters have successfully reached a 60% containment status.
