INCIDENT SUMMARY
A new wildfire has ignited from an unknown cause on Santa Barbara Ranger District of the Los Padres National Forest on Thursday, August 18, 2016.
The fast-moving wildfire is burning the White Rock Campground which has prompted evacuations of the Los Prietos Boys Camp and campgrounds on the Paradise Road area.
Firefighters are still in initial attack fire tactics.
SIZE
The fire is now at 600 acres of grass and timber understory with a 20% containment status.
COMMAND
Owner of this wildfire is the US Forest Service.
