Incident Summary |  A lightning strike sparked a massive wildfire on May 9th, 2017, located North of Dove Tank atop a ridge North of Double Creek in Arizona.

The fire is burning within the same locations as the 2016 Rim Fire, 2015 Saw Mill Fire, 2014 Elwood Fire and 2014 Basin Fire.

Current Conditions |  Fire crews are working to keep the existing fire within the previous wildfire burn scars, especially on the western perimeter of the fire.

About 10,970 acres of hardwood litter and short grass have been destroyed by fire.

Burnout operations will be conducted as needed.
