Our official Fire Blog may show we are share news in the northwest but we reach readers all across the Globe and may have reached most of these countries on the list of impacted countries.

We can no longer sit back and watch how our world is being impacted and wanted to bring to you facts and resources from verified sources and how the world views this significant global crisis affecting all of us.

UNSUNG HEROES

WHO contributions for WHO COVID-19 appeal has reached $61.5 Million to-date from many donors including from countries France,  Czech Republic, Sweden, Canada, Germany, Geneva,  Ireland, Denmark, Japan, as well as many US Foundations and businesses to fight this disease head on globally. 

There is a lot of information out there on this virus and we are working to dive right into it.  Information on resources, supplies, current events and other news. Please bear with us, as we work to catch up.

Sit Reps or Situation Reports will be attempted to be released in the evening so we can capture all of the information put out during the morning and evening. If time allows us to, we will release a morning and evening Sit Rep.  For now, we will be releasing them in the evening.

Fact | WHO’s Action Increased for Safe Blood Supplies – 2/26/2020

Globally:  There are approximately 83,652 cases.  1,358 new cases in the last 24 hours have been reported. VERY HIGH probable chase of becoming exposed.  Regional Level is also deemed the same.

  • Countries are taking measures to reporting lower numbers due to denial of entry of travels originating from China or from others that have on-going trasmission of the virus, quarantine requirements for foreigners, self-isolation or returning nationals and visa restrictions.
  • The WHO also has published Alerts/Recommendations for international travel and continues to recommend against application of any travel or trade restrictions as related to this virus outbreak.

TRAVELER ALERTS

Warning Level 3

The CDC recommends that travellers avoid all non-essential travel to the China, Iran, Italy and South Korea.

Alert Level 2

The CDC states Japan is currently experiencing sustained community transmission of respiration illness caused by the virus.  Spread can occur from person-to-person. Older adults and those with chronic medical conditions are cautioned not to travel at this time and reschedule your travel time.

Watch Level 1

The CDC does not recommend cancelling or postponing travel to Hong Kong at this time.  However, travellers should practice normal precautions.

Community Spread

There are cases being reported in Singapore, Thailand and Taiwan but are not deemed by the CDC to fall under the criteria for a travel health notice. These cases are on those whom is unsure how or where the location on where they may have become infected.  There is not an extent of spreading at this time to caution any alerts.
