COCONINO COUNTY, Arizona — The Coconino County government raised their Fire Restrictions level to a Stage 3 Restriction as of 1500 hours MST.

This Stage 3 Restriction is for those in these areas:

  • City of Flagstaff
  • Coconino County (unincorporated areas)
  • Coconino County Parks

This new restriction deems the following as Don’ts:

  • No burning of any combustion
  • No open fire
  • No charcoal
  • No propane
  • No campfires

These restrictions are for those in unincorporated areas and residences.

Stage 2 Restrictions are currently in effect for:

  • Coconino National Forest
  • Kaibab National Forest
  • Prescott National Forest
  • Grand Canyon National Park
  • Arizona State Lands (within the County)
  • Arizona State Parks (within the County)

Stage 1 Restrictions are for the following areas:

  • Glen Canyon National Rec Area (National Parks)
  • Vermillion Cliffs National Monument (BLM lands)
  • Navajo Nation
