2145 PT – The White River Fire, a lightning-caused fire is located 15 miles northwest of Plain and 23 miles northwest of Leavenworth (both areas in Chelan County), Washington State in the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest.
The fire ignited on 8/11/2022.
Today, it is 5,410 acres of timber destroyed. There is a 10% containment status.
Fire behavior is moderate. Evacuation notices have been previously issued. 42 total personnel along with one crew, one engine, and a single copter. CTD: $17.5 Million.
