GRANT COUNTY, WASHINGTON STATE — WA DNR firefighters and equipment are on the scene of the Crab Creek Fire, located in Lower Crab Creek.
They were dispatched at 1159 hours PDT today. No resources or a current fire status is listed.
About 290 acres have been burned.

A wildfire burns along Smyrna Canyon and Lower Creek, called the 243 Fire was said to be about fives miles south of Royal City. It was reported it had already burned 5,000 acres and still growing quickly. Level 3 evacuations were issued by the County Sheriff’s Office due to about 25 homes being threatened. State mobe resources approved.

The fire was reported it had destroyed 1,000 acres. The fire caused Level 3 evacuations for the community of Smyrna and going to State Mobe for additional resources.

Mutual aid (Tender 1334) from Grant County Fire District 13 responds to assist them along with BLM, where a large wildfire has broken out in the Lower Crab Creek area near RD 8 and Corfu in Royal City, Washington.

Grant County Fire District 13, deploys Brush Trush Truck 1327 and 1326, along with Tenders 1331 and 1332 with Command 1371 to the area of Lower Crab Creek and Corfu Road near Royal City. The fire was said to be at 500-plus acres.
