The Wilburn Fire is located approximately 8.5 miles west of Clints Well in the Mogollon Rim Ranger District of the Coconino National Forest, which ignited on May 21, 2023.

The long-burning wildfire has destroyed 7,938 acres of Ponderosa pine and pinyon-juniper.

Currently, there is a total number of 150 personnel assigned to this incident.

The Northern Arizona IMT Type 3 assumed command of the fire on June 12, 2023.

A 41% containment status has been reached.

It was sparked by lightning.
