UPDATE 3: July 5, 2023, Wednesday, 2000 hours PDT
The SPRING CREEK FIRE is still burning four miles southwest of Parachute, Colorado, which has consumed 2,958 acres of brush, hardwood litter, and medium slash. There is a 37% containment status.

It originally started on Saturday, June 24, 2023, on privately owned and BLM-administered lands.
There are no evacuation orders in effect at this moment.
A TFR (temporary flight restriction) is in place.
Management of the fire is under a CIMT, the Rocky Mountain Team 2. There is a total of 544 personnel along with eight crews, 27 engines, and nine copters.

Incident Cooperators include the Garfield County Emergency Communication Authority, FAA, Fire Finance, Logistics, Planning, and Operations units.
