A wildfire named the FARNHAM FIRE is burning east of Chelan Falls in Chelan County and between the top of Chelan Hills Acres and McNeil Canyon in Douglas County, Washington State, which appeared to have been sparked on Saturday, prompting the dispatch of fire personnel and equipment on Saturday night around 2144 hours PT. (WA DNR).
We have reached out to the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office as they updated shortly after WA DNR post (Twitter) at 2144, that the acres burned is only 50 and that the fire is burning in their county. That this is a 2-Alarm brush fire. – Ed.

The fire has consumed about 130 acres with a 0% containment status.
The Sheriff’s Office Staging area is located near Beebe Park/US 97.
