Incident Summary
Firefighters with the Maui County Fire Department were busy today as they fought another wildfire in their region on the Hawaiian Island.

Firefighters Dispatched to Brush Fire Call
Today at 1355 hours, they were dispatched to the report of a possible brush fire along Maui Veteran’s Highway in the Pohakuloa Training Area.
Fire Burning Much Faster Than First Reported
The first due unit arrived and reported to Fire Dispatch about a fast-moving brush fire.
No structures were reported as being threatened, damaged, or destroyed.
Cause
It is unknown what the cause was at the time of this post.
