Multiple new wildfires raging in Texas are currently considered as not controlled. Here is a current list of the wildfires that are burning throughout the State of Texas (USA).
JULIET PASS FIRE
The fire burning in Armstrong County has destroyed approximately 2,963 acres and has a 90% containment status.
WINDY DEUCE FIRE
Moore County in Texas has a fairly large fire with multiple fire agencies reporting the fire burning about 750-1,500 acres. It has a 0% containment status. It is near the North CIG Fire.
NORTH CIG FIRE

The North Cig Fire ignited on February 24, 2024, but the following day, the wildfire burned up to 4,012 acres and became 100% contained. All of the State resources had been released and the fire was transitioned back to the local unit. This is located in Moore County, Texas.
OLD BUNGER FIRE
The smaller Old Bunger Fire is burning in Young County and is one of the smaller wildfires at 20 acres with a 30% containment.
GRAPE VINE CREEK FIRE
A wildfire is burning in Gray County. The wildfire has burned at least 20,000 acres and has a 0% containment status. Texas A&M Forest Service resources were dispatched around 1940 hours PST as mutual aid.
SMOKEHOUSE CREEK FIRE (FORMERLY HUTCHINSON 0317 FIRE)
An out-of-control wildfire is burning in Hutchinson County, which has scorched about 40,000 acres. There is a 0% containment status. Texas A&M Forest Service personnel and equipment have been dispatched. Officials with the City of Borger and Hutchinson County OEM said two fires ignited in the area and are currently being pushed by 50-plus mile-per-hour winds. This is located in the Panhandle of Texas.
