PRINCE GEORGE FIRE CENTRE, BC
Incident Location
An out-of-control wildfire named the Parker Lake Fire, also known as the G90267 Fire Incident is burning on Hwy 7, about 2 km or almost 1.5 miles northwest of Parker Lake in Fort Nelson, British Columbia (BC), Canada.

Resources include the following:
- 70 firefighters
- 16 helicopters
- 1 IMT
- 17 pieces of heavy equipment
- 2 Structure Protection Specialists
- 2 Type 2 Structure Protection Trailers
- 1 Type 1 Structure Protection Trailer
Current Status
The fire has burned 4,136 hectares or 10,220 acres by American standards. The current containment status or approximate costs-to-date are unknown at the time of this post. However, we do though it has been reported to be three square miles and fire behavior is extreme with observed as wind-driven.
Media outlets are reporting the town (Fort Nelson) has publicly stated a powerline was the cause of the fire after a tree was downed into the lines.
