The wildfire at the time, was being observed as active and wind-driven due to high gusty winds and very dry conditions. At the end of the fire, crews were able to hold the fire to three acres.

This brought many challenges to fire operations and firefighters working to suppress the fire. It took them about six hours from the beginning of the incident to when resources were released.

Resources included 14 firefighters from the Orondo Fire Department and six fire apparatus.

The cause and the extent of cost-to-date for fire suppression and containment efforts were unknown at the time of this post.

Fire Officials state no one was hurt and no homes, structures, or vehicles were damaged.
