A wildfire named the McDonald Fire is burning about 31 miles, south of Fairbanks in the State of Alaska (USA) which had started yesterday, looks more like a firestorm than a wildfire.

Like many other of its counterparts, States Arizona, California and some parts of Washington State are faced with dry and low RH as fire weather and conditions continue to grow worse.

Today in the State of California, new fires have been igniting every several minutes apart from one another and across the beautiful sunny State, making it dangerous to access and egress by wildland firefighters.

The fire has burned about 8,000 acres with an unknown containment status.

This was caused by lightning.

No word of any firefighters or others being injured at the time of this update.
