INCIDENT SUMMARY. The Boulder View Fire is burning about five miles east of Carefree (Maricopa County), Arizona in the Sonoran Desert. The wildfire started on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 1430 hours MST.

The cause of the fire is unknown and under investigation.

COMMAND. The fire is under the command of Benjamin Stewart, James Robbins, and Jeff Gallivan (Trainee). This is under the AZ Central West Zone Type 3 Incident Management Team assumed Command on June 28th.

RESOURCES. There are 244 total fire personnel assigned to this incident.

CURRENT STATUS. The fire has burned about 3,711 acres of grass and brush which has a 63% containment status.

EVACUATIONS. All SET and GO Alerts for the Boulder View Fire area have been lifted.
