Riley Fire. This fire is located in the Tanana Zone and managed by the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) which is located nine (9) miles southeast of Healy, Alaska. Timber and hardwood are the fire fuels. Minimal fire behavior has been observed with creeping, single tree torching, and smoldering.

Grapefruit Complex. The Grapefruit Complex is comprised of six (6) individual fires on the Upper Yukon Zone managed by the BLM. Timber and hardwood litter are the fire fuels. Minimal fire behavior duly noted by Fire Managers along with backing, creeping, and smoldering. Structures are currently threatened.

McDonald Fire. The McDonald Fire is located in the Military Zone, which started on Department of Defense lands about nine miles southwest of Salcha, Alaska. Timber, hardwood litter, and grass are the area’s fire fuels. These fire stats are from the National Interagency Fire Center, based out of Boise, Idaho. On the 1st of July, the BLM Alaska Fire Service stated the fire had burned about 160,818 acres, with an increase of 15,000 acres in a single. Minimal fire behavior with smoldering and creeping are occurring.

Montana Creek Fire. This wildfire is burning in the Ma-Su Area and is managed by the Alaska Department of Forestry about 15 miles south of Talkeetna. Minimal fire behavior with creeping and smoldering has been observed.
Here is a list of the few samples of wildfires burning in the State of Alaska.

Osakawalik River Fire. The Oksawalik River Fire was reported within the last 24 hours, which is burning in the Southwest Area in the Alaska Department of Forestry about 18 miles south of Crooked Creek. Timber and brush are the fire fuels. Minimal fire behavior with smoldering and creeping have been observed.
Deception Pup Fire. This wildfire started on DNR land about three (3) miles northwest of Central in Alaska.
