INCIDENT SUMMARY

The WILLIAMS MINE FIRE is located in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest in the Mt. Adams Wilderness south of Williams Mine.

There are reports that this fire may have started near the White Salmon River and according to the Skamania County Sheriff’s Office, it is burning on the southwestern side of Mount Adams.

CURRENT STATUS

Fire is being reported between over 2,000 acres earlier this morning to just over 4,500 around 2040 hours PT tonight.
