It would then spread north and east into management timber on National Forst lands with brush and grass understory.

A UAS with infrared technology found more heat along the eastern fire line, which prompted an urgent response by firefighters and extinguishing of mop-ups of the hot spot fires. In other areas within the fire perimeter, firefighters are mopping up along the southern fire edge, northwest of Home Antler Camp

There have been 5,677 acres and there is a 66% containment status. Fire behavior is moderate with creeping, single tree torching, and isolated torching.

About 533 total personnel with 14 crews, 17 engines, and four copters are assigned, under the management of a CIMT, the NW Team 10.

  • South Central Oregon Fire Management Partnership – SCOFMP
