The GOOSMUS FIRE started from an unknown cause on September 25, 2024, at 1430 hours PT, and originated approximately 4.5 miles south of Danville, Washington.
Today there are a total of 267 fire personnel.
The fire has burned about 1,738 acres and has a 24% containment status.
Evacuations are still in effect:
- Level 2 (GET SET) 4th of July Creek Road.
- Level 1 (BE READY) Town of Danville, north of Big Goosmus Road and along Hwy 21 to the Canadian border.
