Sit Rep 1: March 22, 2025, 2125 PT, Saturday PM Update

There are so many wildfires burning in a lot of United States and we will try to separate them one-by-one and I apologize ahead of time if I blow up your email and/or Social Media pages. We appreciate your follows!
Fire Alert via the Alabama Forestry Commission:
Just so you know – Burn permits will NOT be issued for the Southwest Region on Sunday, March 23. That includes Baldwin, Choctaw, Clarke, Conecuh, Dallas, Escambia, Marengo, Mobile, Monroe, Perry, Washington, and Wilcox counties. In the last seven days in that region alone, 66 wildfires have burned over 3,300 acres. That includes 400- and 500-acre fires in Conecuh, a 390-acre fire in Perry, and a 388-acre fire in Escambia. Baldwin and Washington counties each had two fires of more than 100 acres; while Escambia, Mobile, and Wilcox counties also had at least one fire for more than 100 acres.

CONECUH COUNTY
According to the National Interagency Fire Center based out of Boise, Idaho where they receive national Situation Reports from all reporting agencies across the United States. There is only one wildfire burning in this State.
This is said to be burning on property managed and owned by the Alabama Forestry Commission and located about three miles east of Castleberry, Alabama.
There is limited information on this wildfire. As more is available, we will post a second update.
