Fire Situation Report for Sunday, March 23, 2025, 1530 hours PT
Within the last 24 hours, a new wildfire was reported to the National Interagency Fire Center based out of Boise, Idaho called the Three Chiefs Fire, located three miles east of Kenwood, Oklahoma.

This is on lands managed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and being handled by the Tahlequah Field Office.
Fire behavior has been observed as active with running, while at the same time threatening nearby structures.
About 588 acres have been burned and firefighters have reached so far, a 51% containment status.
There are 23 total personnel and six (6) engines on the fire ground.
The total cost-to-date is $40,000.
