KERN COUNTY — THE DOGS FIRE broke out on Friday afternoon, June 13, 2025, at 1441 hours PDT on Hwy 65 near Famosos Road and Sherwood Avenue, north of Bakersfield in California (USA).

The fire has burned approximately 4,407 acres, and it has a 50% containment status.

Resources include those from Kern County FD (Lead Fire Agency), Kern County Sheriff’s Office, Ready Kern, ALERT California, and CAL FIRE.
