Location: 5 miles SE of Circle Hot Springs.

Cause:  Under investigation.

Location:  Sonora, CA.

Incident Update: North end of fire crossed over Clavey Road.  No structures are in danger at this moment.

Closures: Highway 120.  Buck Meadow Evacuation in progress.  From Smith Station to W. & 4 Miles East of Buck Meadows.  No Westbound Traffic out of Yosemite National Park.

Extreme fire behavior has been predicted again for the remainder of the day. Here, the fire burns near the head of Imperial Gulch, south of Greenhorn.

Incident Update:  Zone 1 firefighters made good progress, some mechanical issues with helos.  Zone 2 working very hard.  DC10 used on fires – Southern boundaries. 104,000 acres now burned.

Spring Creek Fire – Sparks, NV – Humboldt – Toiyabe National Forest.

Reported:  8/18/13 2230 Hours PDT.

Cause: Lightning

Location: 24 miles SW of Hawthorne, 12 miles NE of Mono Lake, CA.

Incident Info:  Fire crossed CA State Line.  3 miles E. of Bodie State Historical Park. (CA State Parks).  Structure fire engines stationed, dozer lines being built.

Closures:  Access to Bodie State Historical Park until further notice, as well as CA SR 270 (Bodie Rd), Cottonwood Rd running N. from CA SR 167 to all vehicles, except fire and EMS units.

Cause:  Lightning

Location:  10 miles SW of The Dalles, OR.

Personnel:  500.

Acres:  5,000

Incident Info:  3 wildfires as one large fire named, “Government Flats Complex” fire are: Blackburn, Government Flats and Wells.

Shelter –> Red Cross at Dry Hollow Elementary School, 1314 E. 19th Street, The Dalles.  <– Register with Red Cross Program, “Safe and Well” at Center or online http://www.redcross.org.

Evacuation Info –> Wasco County Sheriff’s Office. 541-506-2580.

Road Closures –> Level III Evac from 9595 Mill Rd to all of the Reservoir Rd.  50 structures are affected.  This does NOT affect water treatment operations.
