Snohomish County Fire District #7 is currently building an ongoing eligibility list for 3 current positions and anticipated future positions.  *** CLOSES 3/21/14 ****

This position requires FireTEAM through National Testing Network (NTN) and a valid CPAT.

All testing must be completed by March 21, 2014 to be considered for this round of hiring.

Salary Information: $4,950/month (2014 rate, 70% of top firefighter pay)

 Department Overview: Snohomish County Fire District 7 is a state-of-the-art emergency service provider serving nearly 78,000 citizens in a 60 square mile area of unincorporated Snohomish County. Fire District 7 also provides contracted service to the City of Mill Creek.

Fire District 7 has 102 employees and 3 volunteer chaplains that respond to more than 5,500 calls each year. We respond from 6 fire stations that are staffed 24 hours per day. Two of these stations have paramedics assigned that respond to advanced emergency medical calls. We are also actively involved in the communities we serve, conducting various fire and injury safety education programs.

 Job Requirements

Age: 18

US Citizen: Lawfully work in US

High School Grad/GED: Yes

Valid WASHINGTON State Driver’s License: Yes, be able to provide a valid driver’s license at time of application and be able to obtain a WA State driver license at time of appointment

Ability to Read/Speak English: Yes

 Academy Certification:

WA State Fire Academy not required, but preferred.

 Prior Experience:

One (1) year experience as a structural firefighter within the last two (2) years.

 Necessary Qualifications:

Valid WA State EMT or NREMT certification at time of application.

The department requires the candidate PHQ.  This questionnaire can be accessed through the candidate’s NTN account.  The PHQ must be completed by the closing date or you may not be considered further in the process.
