FIRE SIT REP
Firefighters spent Saturday night, April 18, 2015, working to try to contain the fast-moving wildfire. Steep and difficult terrain has impacted their efforts but additional resources have arrived and area working to aid their hardworking efforts.
At 00:00, the fire was listed at 300 acres with a 15% containment status. Evacuations were lifted at 0600 Hours on April 19, 2015.
The cause is still unknown and is under investigation.
The number of resources have increased since CALFIRE’s last update last night around 2145 Hours PDT. Here is a new count of resources on the fire ground.
- 335 Firefighters
- 34 Engine companies
- 16 Overhead personnel
- 2 Helicopters
- 2 Air tankers
- 14 Fire crews
- 2 Water tenders
- 2 Bulldozers

Evacuations orders have been lifted. Evacuations of residents on Bluff Road, Stagecoach Road, Homestead Road.
We are waiting to hear back from CALFIRE after a briefing was around 0800 to get a new update and see what the day holds for air support and fire tactics.
