INCIDENT SUMMARY
The College Peak Fire started on May 10, 2016, on Tuesday around 1141 hours.
Location: The wildfire is located East of Douglas, AZ in the Perilla Mountains in Cochise County, Arizona.
Cause: The cause is still unknown and under investigation.
Terrain: Fire crews are battling the fire on rugged and steep terrain.

CURRENT STATUS
The fire has a moderate of spread by backing, flanking with short uphill runs and is expected to back off off the West side of the mountain. It has burned up to 1683 acres of grass and brush.
Firefighters have successfully a 40% containment status.

RESOURCES
Resources consist of 102 personnel assigned to this incident from the AZ State of Forestry, Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Department of Public Safety (DPS) and the Sunny Fire Department.
In aid of support, there are: (3) Type 2 AZSF Hand Crews, (2) Federal Suppression mobile Hand Crews. (1) Air Attack. (1) DPS Helo. (1) Engine. Miscellaneous overhead.
DAMAGE ASSESSMENT
There are no threats to structures and no injuries have been reported.
